The Split Second Grand Prix is an event in Burnout 2: Point of Impact. More precisely a stage part of the Custom Series Championship. It is unlocked by completing the Speed Streak Grand Prix.

It is the third stage of the Custom Series Championship and is composed of 5 Races. The selected tracks are noticeably harder than the previous courses, as they can have very heavy traffic in some areas. The opponents in this Grand Prix are the Custom Coupe, the Custom Sport and the Custom Pickup. If the player uses one of these vehicles, then the Custom SUV will show up.

This Grand Prix is notable for being the debut of, arguably, the most recognizable car in the Burnout series; the Custom Coupe, which is the third custom car available. When this Grand Prix is completed, said car is unlocked for the player's use.
