Shires Drive follows along a large amount of the western section of Big Surf Island. There is an inclined swirled car park along this road. It starts at the Griffin Boulevard/McDonald Road junction and ends intersecting with Daniell Way. The road has one long, sweeping bend that extends round the outside of most of the Construction Site. Shires Drive runs through 3 Big Surf Island Sub-Districts; Midtown, North Beach and South Coast.
