The SUV is one of the seven starting vehicles in Burnout 2: Point of Impact. It is a 4WD car that has a high amount of control, but is quite slow and bulky.
The SUV's engine has a greater amount of torque over the horsepower it produces, resulting in the SUV sacrificing top speed for quicker acceleration, which makes it good at recovering from crashes, but lowers its overall usefulness in races, due to having the lowest speed stat in the game. It can get the player by some of the earlier championship events, but it is not ideal for the later stages. Due to its low speed and average acceleration, it is one of the most sluggish vehicles in the game, perhaps only outclassed by the Gangster and Compact.
The SUV comes in four colors, the lowest amount for a stock vehicle; white, burgundy, black and dark blue.
As an opponent in the Championship, it appears in the Pacific Gate Grand Prix, the Winding Road Grand Prix, The Miracle Mile and the Street Storm Grand Prix as an extra opponent.
