The Rai-Jin Turbo RWD is a new car that was released in the Cagney update. Like the Hunter Olympus, it doesn't use boost. Although it doesn't have boost, it can do Showtime. When showitme is activated, a grey/white bar shows up for extra movement. This is also so for the Hunter Olympus. It's handling is extremely sloppy and drifting may cause it to spin out easily. It is the fastest car in the game, being able to outrun a Kreiger PCPD Special at full boost. The Rai-Jin does have quick acceleration; however, it's lack of boost does mean that most other cars can accelerate much faster when boosting. It's strength is 4, which means it is not suited to take on tougher vehicles such as the (Carson Inferno Van and Hunter Takedown 4x4), but it can take on lighter vehicles such as the Kitano Touge Sport and Montgomery Hawker.

How to Unlock

At first, this vehicle was a "gift" to Burners that are Elite members of the Criterion Games forum, Elite members are chosen by Criterion themselves. MattW of criterion has stated that the car would be made available to everyone as soon the closed beta was over.

On Thursday, 17th July 2008 Criterion Games announced that the Nakamura Rai-Jin Turbo RWD is available for all players to drive, but only during Freeburn Online play.
