The Muscle Prototype is a vehicle in Burnout 3: Takedown. It is the upgraded version of the Muscle Type 3. Like the Type 3, it defies it's weight statistic by being very easy to push around, and it doesn't have enough weight to compete for higher scores in a Road Rage, either. In a Race, the Prototype is more designed for overtaking opponents rather than taking them down.

As it can be indicated by the thicker tire treads, the Muscle Prototype has tighter grip than its Type 3 predecessor at the expense of being worse in combat. The Muscle Prototype is less resistant to attacks and cannot fight back at rivals but it delivers on bypassing them. Overtaking racers is easily done despite the unchanged speed and acceleration. This car re-appears as the Muscle Collector 3 in Burnout Legends.

It's available in Red/White, Blue/White, and Black/White paint schemes.

The Muscle Prototype is Awarded for a Gold in Mountain Parkway Face-Off 2.

Resemblance

The Muscle Type 3 has the basic shape of the Ford GT or Lamborghini Miura but features several racing modifications such as a roof scoop and spoiler. The tail lights have absolutely no resemblance to the Ford GT. The tail lights vaguely resemble that of a Chevrolet Corvette C4 but with large turn signals.
