High Roller is a crash event in Burnout 3: Takedown.
It takes place in Riviera, Europe. If the event is played in World Tour mode, the player will be driving a Coupe Type 1.
Strategy[]
When the event begins, drive forwards and down onto the left side of the highway. Steer to the left to collect the instant boost pickup and head towards the ramp. You’ll want to take the ramp for this strategy, but not straight on, as that will make you overshoot the jump and land too far away from the vehicles you want to crash into. Instead, drive towards the ramp on it’s right side so that only your two left wheels will go up the ramp, this will ensure that you don’t fly too far and you will start spinning rapidly.
As soon as you are in the air, enter crash aftertouch and use it to steer yourself to the left around the traffic lights and road sign below you. Now centre yourself in the two lanes of traffic below you and aim to collide with the ground ahead so that your car rolls into the 4x cash multiplier pickup, as this crash junction is incredibly difficult to achieve a gold medal on without it. It can also be helpful to steer to the right slightly just before you hit the ground to avoid rolling into the heartbreaker pickup nearby.
What will likely happen is that all of the cars behind you will rapidly speed up and crash into you, pushing you far forwards. Once you earn your crashbreaker, use it to try and throw yourself into the opposite lanes of traffic to try and catch any stray traffic. There will have been traffic driving through here previously, but this strategy should allow you to achieve a gold medal without needing to cause any of them to crash, earning you just over $500,000 in cash.
