Where did you guys get info on vehicle weight in Paradise?
I've been wondering about car weights, and how you wiki-er's found these numbers. I noticed that it's only shown for a couple of vehicles but everyone else is pretty much blank. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AOS- (talk • contribs)
These vehicles were featured in an article on the Criterion Games Network detaling the best cars for Cops and Robbers. Oh, and please sign your forum/talk page posts with ~~~~ Exlonox posted this at 19:06, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
The article on their website is long gone, but you can check out an exact copy of the weight statics at our King of Cop Cars forum thread. KoenigseggCCXRBurnopedia Admin06:04, March 11, 2010 (UTC)

Many a time ago, back in the dawn of our creation, i remember that i generated a genius formula to work out all Paradise car weights (approximately) by using their strength and speed ratings. The theory was that if a car was fast it would be light, and slow it would be heavy. However that can't be the only factor as you can have light slow cars and fast heavy ones. So strength cam into it. If a car is stronger then it's generally heavy, unless its made of titanium, which most cars aren't as far as non-science-fiction goes. So strength affects weight and weight affects speed, so by using speed and strength the weight was roughly formulated. It wasn't official but it was similar to the other ratings and therefore to some degree, quite accurate. So there was never a car with a speed of 3 and a weight of 1 and then a strength of 9. That wouldn't fit. However there were issues with the different boost types, and then you have carbon cars, which are (by common sense) lighter, and so other mathematical uberness had to be inputted to resolve these exceptions to the norm. Then we got in debates and discussions about whether it was official, or accurate, or whether the formula was right. And so they pinned me to a wall, put a packet of nuts and a kiwi fruit to my throat (i'm allergic to them), threatened to kill my Xbox and snap my COD disk. And so with that life and death situation, i gave in to all the debating and we scrapped it. So overall that long winded and probably pointless explanation of the weight ratings is hopefully helpful. If not, you just got an insight into a bit of Burnopedia history! Sorted :D Posted @: 10:27, March 11, 2010 (UTC).
