The Compact Type 1 is one of three vehicles immediately available to players in Burnout 3: Takedown.
For a beginner's car, it has a fair cruising speed and responsive handling, while the acceleration is sub-par. Controlling it whilst drifting can also be challenging and occasionally it will skid from oversteer.
Despite its minor performance flaws, however, this compact is a great starting choice for Race events. On the other hand, it is a poor candidate for Road Rage due to its lighter weight.
The Compact Type 1 can be painted red, blue, or black.
