The Carson Thunder Custom is one of the more heavy, strength-based Aggression vehicles in Burnout Paradise. It is similar to the Hunter Citizen in terms of statistics, but has very good speed, boost, and strength statistics.
It is pretty much a drag car, excelling in acceleration with poor handling, and because of this, its best use is in Road Rage and Marked Man events. Its poor handling degrades its use for other events such as Stunt Run.

Resemblance[]
It resembles a 1949-1951 Mercury Eight, the Hudson Hornet, and many other "Lead Sleds" of the time period.
It also resembles the Classic Crasher C170 featured in Burnout Revenge, and the Assassin in Burnout Dominator.

- In Burnout Paradise's Free February Update, the Thunder Custom's speed rating was lowered from 9 to 6 and its boost rating was lowered from 9 to 8.
- The license plate reads: "US-CC-01" which stands for "United States - Classic Crasher - 01".
- Due to the design of the Thunder Custom and Thunder Shadow, only the lowest part of the front bumper below the grille can be removed from the car by damage.
